    I have noticed lately that I am unable to retrieve srs system fault codes on Hondas that have deployed airbags. I'm not sure if I was able previously, but I believe I could, that was one of the reasons for our company purchasing this scan tool. If anyone has any insight that would be great!

     What scan tool are you using, and is your Honda software updated to the latest version? I've dealt with a couple deployed Honda SRS modules with no problem. I've noticed an issue with Ford though. I have Ford IDS subscription & Rotunda VCM, and it seems to pull more codes than the Maxi Elite.

     Any updates on this?

    I've found on the 2017 and 2018 Hondas with clear deployments that we are unable to read deployment codes from our tablets, both from Autel as well as other manufacturers.

    I am having the same issue both autel scanners unable to read deployed airbag codes. Honda Civic 2016 model unable to retrieve codes

     Have you tried removing the deployed airbags and installing airbag simulators in their place?
